so, you may be interested in our subsidised evening
classes.
You can
choose from ONE of the following classes:
Using
Microsoft Word (basic)
Have you got a new computer and would you like
to learn basic word processing skills?
Using Microsoft Excel
Learn how to use Microsoft Excel to create basic spreadsheets to manipulate numerical
data. Find out about designing your own spreadsheets to manage your finances
or other data.
Using Microsoft PowerPoint
Develop your presentation skills through classes focusing on how to use Microsoft
PowerPoint. Impress your colleagues, family and friends with your professional
presentations!
Design
your own website Want to make your own website
but don’t know how? Using special software, the
computer does all the hard work for you.
Computers
for Beginners
An introduction to your computer
for practical and leisure purposes e.g. internet,
word processing.
Introduction to Using the
Internet
Classes will start on Wednesday
7th October and will run for 6 weeks from 6-8 p.m.
There will be a two week break on the 28th October
and the 4th November.
Classes are highly popular and people
of all ages and abilities are welcome.
Also available
is a GCSE Maths class which will run from the 7th
October until May 2009 for examination in summer
2009. This course is suitable for anybody wishing
to take GCSE Maths either starting from scratch or
as a re-sit.
Thanks to
community funding, this programme of classes will
be free to celebrate the Maths and Computing specialism
and the Training School programme at BRGS.*
