France
has a high profile in European affairs and Britain's increasingly
close to
French. However, we should realise that this is only part of
the picture, for French is spoken on five continents by an estimated
120 million people.
Pupils will be entered for the NEAB examination.
The syllabus will develop the pupils' understanding and use of the
language in both the spoken and written form.
The course aims to be stimulating and well-structured, so communication
in French will be as important as mastery of the grammatical concepts.
