In the 2 weeks lead up to the Year 9 exams, Year 9 Technology students where tasked to produce an A3 research sheet on materials and processes that could be used in the school workshop including our CAD/CAM provision. In the exam itself Year 9 students were given a design specification which they then used to guide their design ideas to develop a final design for a trophy. The trophy was to be titled "Technology Student of 2009". After careful deliberation, the most appropriate design was selected and this was manufactured in school. This winning design was indeed presented back to the designer- Congratulations to Danielle Leach.
