During the run-up to the General Election, BRGS staged it's own mock election complete with canvassing, candidate Q & A sessions etc. At the end of the hustings, students and staff voted for their preferred candidate.


the results were:
Joe Donnelly (Lib Dems) 537 votes (47%)
Catriona Watson (Labour) 289 votes (27%)
Robyn Shepherd (Conservative) 230 votes (20%)

1111 votes were cast representing an 81% turnout.
