Music for Summertime Visitors to the school have had a number of treats this week - from the art, technology and history models exhibitions at the start of the week, and on Wednesday night the annual summer concert. The programme was an uplifting one, despite the fact that outside there were gale force winds (typical July Weather!) - the programme of music can be seen below. One of the highlights of the evening had to be the beautiful voice of Ailsa Mainwaring. Ailsa sang Voi che Sapete (Mozart) and Pie Jesu (Faure) and had the audience captivated with her strong, yet soft-toned vocals. Well done to the efforts of all who organised and took part in the concert. |
