Timetable Week 1
About Us Parents & Students Sixth Form Development & Alumni

It's not too late to apply!

Although our Sixth Form Open evening took place on Thursday 17th October and was a very well attended event, it is not too late to apply. Please contact BRGS either by phone on 01706 233400 or by email to request a 2014 Prospectus and Application Form. This will need to be returned to us as soon as possible. If, having read the Prospectus, you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to contact us.

BRGS has just been ranked 37th in the country for average point score at A level!  Click here for the table of results.

BRGS Sixth Form is a friendly, dynamic and high achieving community of around 500 young people who join us from schools within the Rossendale Valley and from Burnley, Rochdale, Bury, Hyndburn and beyond. As a large and academic Sixth Form, we are able to offer a wide choice of AS and A levels with specialist provision for those aspiring to Oxbridge, Medicine, Law and other competitive university courses. In both 2007 and again in 2012, BRGS Sixth Form achieved an “Outstanding” from Ofsted – the highest judgement which can be made. We are proud of the quality of support and pastoral care provided and this is captured at the end of two years in our legendary Fancy Dress Leavers' Day and Leavers' Ball which celebrate the lasting friendships which have been made during two happy and successful years at BRGS.

Please view this section of the website to give you an idea of both the academic and extensive Enrichment Programme which we offer. If you then have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us either by phone or email.
