The art department at BRGS has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where individual development and progress is encouraged and promoted to examination level. Visits to major exhibitions are arranged throughout the two years where students can develop a wider and more balanced view of the total subject area.

The working area is housed in a modern art block and the department has an extensive library along with a suite of computers for both reference and activities.

» Higher education and Career opportunities:

Most students continue their studies by either direct entry to university or by obtaining a place on a foundation course prior to degree studies in Art, Architecture, Advertising or media and other allied subject areas. Work studied at AS level is counted as part one of the full A level course and will be assessed as part of the final marks.
