The
OCR specification provides
flexibility in meeting the needs of individual students in
the areas of performing, composing and analytical listening,
as related to historical studies.
It would be helpful if
you studied GCSE Music, however it is not essential. If
you are serious about studying music and have achieved a good
standard
of performance singing or on an instrument you will certainly
be a good candidate for the course.
