Food Technology
Food is a practical based
subject giving a lot of scope for spells in industrial situations
and visits to factories etc. Although a rather wide specification,
it is logically set out and a natural progression is made throughout
- all theoretical knowledge is supported by practical experience.
Food Technology combines well with many other subjects, in particular
the sciences, sociology and history. The atmosphere within the department
is relaxed and friendly and allows for individual development and progression.
