Amended Rosso Bus Services

Trandev will be running some of its normal scheduled Rosso services as dedicated school buses for BRGS students from the start of term.  Please click here for the timetable for buses from Haslingden (864), Burnley (743) and Burnley (883). 

Please note that the timetable attached has an error:  the afternoon buses to Haslingden are not using the Turning Circle as these will leave from the bus stop on Bacup Road opposite the bottom of Townsend Street.

Rothwell’s Bus Service from Bury

Rothwells will only be selling 10 journey passes from September 2022 and passengers will not be able to pay for a single journey on the bus.  The cost of travel from Bury to Greenmount include 

We will only be selling 10 journey passes.  Passengers won’t  be able to pay for a single journey on the bus.

The cost of travel from Bury to Greenmount inclusive will be £29 for a 10 journey pass.

The cost of travel from Holcombe Brook to Edenfield will be £25 for a 10 journey pass.

The cost of travel from Helmshore to school will be £23 for 10 journeys. 

The passes should be purchased in advance from our office.

 

This service will run with increased capacity with two vehicles on the same route.

Fares
 
Pickups from Bury to Greenmount are £29 for a 10 journey pass and from Holcombe Brook onwards will be £25 for a 10 journey pass.  The passes should be purchased in advance from our office.

Single Fare £3.50, Return £5.00 per day

Newchurch Street to BRGS

Car

Parking on the BRGS site is not readily available for parents/carers who drive pupils to and from the school. If spaces are available, parents may park in the designated car park, but must not drive through the final gates before school.

Walking & Cycling

For those who prefer pedal power, pupils are able to chain their bikes in the bike compound in order to secure them until home time. This area will be locked during the day.

With health and reduced carbon emissions in mind, we always encourage pupils to walk to school, if the distance is manageable.
